Orders and deliveries

1. Payment options

We accept the following payment options.

You can pay by the above credit cards directly through our web site or by placing a phone order calling us on +41 41 767 36 45 (Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm CET).

Alternatively, you can place your order using a bank transfer by calling us on +41 41 767 36 45 (Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm CET).

2. Payment security

The security of your credit card is guaranteed using our industrial strength encryption SSL (secure socket layer) technologies. All transactions are encrypted using VeriSign, the World's leading e-commerce security provider.

This site uses a Secure Server Certificate to guarantee that the information submitted in the checkout and payment process is safe. When you enter your name, address and credit card number, these details are encrypted on your computer and sent to us before being decrypted by our server. If anyone did manage to intercept this information, it would be illegible to them. Your credit card details are only used once, at the time of the payment transaction and are not stored after the transaction is completed.

3. Billing currency

All payments are processed in Euro (€). Prices viewed in other currencies are calculated using the daily ECB (European Central Bank) currency exchange rate.

4. Shipping and delivery

4.1 Countries where we deliver

We deliver world-wide. Due contractual and copyright terms, we may however not be able to ship certain artworks to certain countries or areas within certain countries. In the basket and check-out process you will be informed about the countries or areas locations where we do not deliver.

4.2 Gift deliveries or deliveries to another address

You can choose different addresses for invoice and delivery. This will allow you to send your artwork as a gift. We can deliver to any address you specify. For certain artworks this can be limited due to contractual and copyright terms. See section “Countries where we deliver”. For gift deliveries you can input a text for the receiving person which will be printed on a gift card and delivered with the work of art.

For gift deliveries you can input a text for the receiving person by clicking on "Gift message/instructions" when you are in the basket. Your message will be printed on a luxury gift card and delivered together with the artwork.

4.3 Order confirmation

After having placed your order you will receive by email an order confirmation and invoice specifying all elements of your order.

4.4 Shipping confirmation and delivery tracking

Upon our delivery of your artwork to our courier you will receive a shipping confirmation by email indicating the tracking number of your package and a link to the tracking system of our courier. You will then be able to follow the shipping status of your order directly through the courier tracking system.

4.5 Delivery Times

We aim to deliver your finished artwork to our courier between 5 and 12 working days from the date of you order.

Shipping time takes from 1 to 3 working days for deliveries in Switzerland, 3 to 6 working days in Central Europe, and 3 to 15 working days for countries in any other region or continent.

Delivery time can therefore range from 6 to 21 working days from the date of your order, depending on the specific artwork and the delivery address you chose. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee an exact day of delivery.

4.6 Shipping Insurance

Your package is insured. We guarantee your satisfaction and we will give you a refund, an exchange or a replacement for purchase according to the terms of our terms & conditions of purchase.

4.7 Order delivery

Your order will be delivered by Swiss Post or TNT. Deliveries at your address take place Monday to Friday during normal business hours.

4.8 What happens if you are not there when the package is delivered?

If you are not there when the package is delivered you will either receive a notice from the post indicating at which post office you can retrieve your package, or you will receive a call from the courier who will organize a new delivery based upon your instructions (you can for example agree to have the package delivered at another time or at a neighbour’s address). For this reason we require you to give us a mobile telephone number (or a landline number where you can be reached at all times during normal business hours) when purchasing your artwork. In case of an unsuccessful delivery the courier will try to contact you 3 times after which the package will be returned to us.

For any questions regarding your delivery please contact us on indicating your order number in your correspondence.

4.9 P.O. Boxes

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes.

4.10 Delivery charges

Due to the variety of artworks we provide, we are unable to have a general delivery charge across all products. In general, our shipping costs are determined by:

  • The total weight of the order; and
  • The destination country of the shipment.

Typical charges for Western Europe are between 28 and 65 Euro

Typical charges for Eastern Europe are between 31 and 76 Euro

Typical charges for North America are between 35 and 89 Euro

Typical charges for Switzerland are between 7 and 18 Euro

Typical charges for the Middle East, Far East and Oceania are between 43 and 137 Euro

5. Value added tax

For goods received outside Switzerland purchase prices are exclusive of VAT. Your local VAT rate will apply and will be charged by the courier (TNT) or the local customs authorities through a separate invoice.

For goods received within Switzerland purchase prices are inclusive of VAT.

6. Duties

Customers receiving goods outside Switzerland may be liable for duty charges levied in their own country. If this happens, it's a matter between you and your local customs agency or you and the courier company. You are responsible for any duty, any administrative expense and any other local tax which might be owed in your country in relation to your purchase.

7. Cancelling

You can cancel your order at any time prior to production of your artwork by us. Simply send us an email at , including your order reference number for quick processing.

8. Returns

We aim to provide you with the highest quality artwork. However if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return to us the item according to the returns terms specified in our purchase terms & conditions. To return an item, please contact us with your order number and reason for the return.

9. Copyright

All copyright and other intellectual property rights of all the prints and design objects you can purchase on the azzurriart.com web site are the exclusive property of Azzurri or its licensees. The prints and design objects are purchased exclusively for private use. By purchasing Azzurri prints or design objects you do not obtain any copyright rights or other intellectual property rights of any form in the content. You may not duplicate or republish the prints or objects for any reason, including, but not limited to, commercial purposes. In the event of you adding text or other material to the content you in no way obtain copyright rights or other intellectual property rights in the content as joint copyright owner or otherwise.

10. General Terms and Conditions of your purchase

Your purchase on azzurriart.com is subject to our terms & conditions. You will be asked to agree with them in the checkout process. If you do not agree with such conditions you should not proceed with your purchase.
